FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC)

In high-school I competed in FIRST Tech Challenge for team 8581 Ædificatores as mechanical lead. I have continued to mentor teams affiliated with KSS Robotics.


This is a robot I built for the 2016-17 season "Velocity Vortex". Lennybot was successful, and we participated at state and national levels of competition. This was the first robot I fully designed using CAD software. You can still find Lennybot in the wild at KSS Robotics outreach events!


8581’s robot for Relic Recovery (2017-18) featured a 6wd drive system that I spent a lot of time working on. This was the first time I designed sheet metal and CNC milled parts. The robot preformed well at state and national level competitions.


This was the last FTC robot I built, and competed at the state level of competition. An earlier iteration featured a servo actuated 2 way ratchet.
